Dr. Renae Thomas

Family, Preventive and Lifestyle Medicine Resident Physician

Dr. Renae Thomas, MD/MBBS (honors), B-BMed (Nutrition and Exercise Physiology), is an Australian-born, Family and Preventive Medicine Resident. Renae is completing a masters in Public Health (Population Medicine), and a lifestyle medicine Specialist Certification.

She is a published co-author on vegetarianism and cancer, and has numerous online print and audio content collaborations. Renae is currently researching the outcomes of a Lifestyle Medicine Curriculum in medical education, and is in the final stages of leading a two year nutritional medicine curriculum for physicians.

Renae is the current president for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine Trainees, and is involved with numerous other lifestyle medicine focused organizations including the American College of Preventive Medicine, the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine as a spokesperson, and Doctors for Nutrition as an International Advisor.

Renaeā€™s greatest passion is empowering people to optimize their own health through lifestyle choices in an evidence-based, sustainable, non-judgemental, and enjoyable fashion.
